about us

WorldView Int. is a network of hundreds of organizations around the globe. Our goal is to serve as a connection point between people who want to undertake volunteer service abroad and the organizations in need of volunteers to fulfill their mission.

WorldView understands that all involved parties have high expectations which can only be met by implementing high quality standards in the whole process. This starts by identifying the “right” volunteers to match the needs of the organizations.

The organizations need volunteers who have a clear understanding of the expectations and requirements that they are expected to fulfill. This involves a comprehensible understanding of their duties including job description, working hours and working conditions.

We understand that organizations not only have an urgent need for volunteers, but also have limited financial resources. Providing housing, food, transportation and care for a volunteer leads to additional expenses, which creates an undesirable additional burden for organizations.

To avoid extra costs for organizations, our volunteers are willing to pay a reasonable fee to cover the costs incurred by their volunteering.

In return, our volunteers expect the organizations to provide adequate housing, food, care and orientation. Especially on the first days after arriving abroad, our volunteers rely on a good care and orientation program from their host organizations.

To ensure that all expectations are met, the volunteers as well as the organizations agree to fulfill our required quality standards. These standards are defined in our quality manual, which needs to be acknowledged and followed by all participating parties.

In this way we avoid unmet expectations and ensure that all parties involved benefit from our volunteer program.
